What is Thai Yoga Bodywork?

Thai Yoga Bodywork is a sacred healing treatment that integrates Yoga, Ayurveda (the Indian healing method that means "science of life"), and Buddhism. The first roots of this ancient system date back to over 2,500 years ago at the time of Buddha. Thai Yoga Bodywork combines rhythmic massage, assisted Yoga poses, and acupressure along energy meridians know as the "Sen," healing energy work. Thai Yoga Bodywork helps to restore balance and harmony to the mind, body and spirit.

What are the benefits of Thai Yoga Bodywork?

  • increases flexibility, suppleness & vital energy
  • relieves pain and soreness in the body
  • harmonizes body systems

What does a session involve?

Robert Barton is trained in the Lotus Palm method of Thai Yoga Massage. Robert is a gifted bodyworker providing a therapeutic and transformational healing experience.

The session is performed while dressed in comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and is sometimes referred to as Thai-Assisted Yoga Therapy. The session is 1-1/2 hours in length. The practitioner uses his/her hands, feet and elbows to apply pressure to important points along the energy lines, in combination with gentle stretching. This releases blocked energy and frees the body's own natural healing potential, thus restoring balance, health and harmony The massage is given in a warm and inviting space, ambient light from the fireplace, candles and soft, soothing music in the background. Nourish yourself!!!!
