About Us
Lotus Heart Rising is located on a hilltop in a beautiful wooded setting in Sewickley, PA, next door to the Pittsburgh Zen Center. It is also the humble abode of caretakers, Robert and Cindi Barton and the wildlife, birds, and trees that have gifted us with their presence. The energies of nature and the earth open us to the beauty of all of life and the beauty within our being. Lotus Heart Rising is a sacred space to renew your spirit through native american ceremony, yoga, meditation and the healing arts.
The Vision of Lotus Heart Rising is dedicated to Grace for her gentle spirit and wisdom guiding us and teaching us through her life and teachings. We honor her strength, peace, wisdom, grace, and santosha (contentment). Grace taught us presence with whatever unfolds, trusting in each moment.
The event room is a sacred, quiet space of healing with glowing embers from a softly lit fireplace, golden morning sun or incredible sunsets, birds chanting in the backdrop of stillness, and a velvety blanket of peace that cradles and nurtures on all levels of being.
